Behind the Scenes – how personalised gifts are made
A personalised gift makes many hearts beat faster and brings great joy when it is given, while creating wonderful memories for years to come. Personalising baby gifts is therefore a meaningful and beautiful task, at least in our opinion.
Behind every personalised LoveKids product lies a great deal of care, dedication and craftsmanship.
How are products personalised?
At LoveKids, personalisation does not simply mean printing a name onto a product. Our textiles are embroidered. That's right – with needle and thread. To ensure that every name is stitched evenly and beautifully, we entrust this work to a specially designed embroidery machine.

Who personalises the products?
Even with an embroidery machine, every order at LoveKids requires a significant amount of manual work. This is carried out with great care by Marco and Céline. When an order is received, it is first checked for completeness. If it includes a personalised gift, our team selects the item, enters the requested personalisation into the computer and places the textile in the embroidery machine.
Then the machine gets to work and the personalisation process begins. Once the embroidery is complete, the unique gift is lovingly packed into our beautiful Petite Année gift box and shipped to its new owner.
Where are the products personalised?
At LoveKids, we value a very family-oriented company culture. For this reason, our administration and production are located under the same roof: in a charming old half-timbered house in Kilchberg. The house, surrounded by a large garden (and therefore without immediate neighbours), is a real blessing, as the embroidery machine can be quite noisy while it works.
